LATTE Graduate Student Recruiting

There are two openings for PhD students in LATTE. Much of our work focuses on computational materials using density functional theory as implemented in VASP and Quantum ESPRESSO. Students with strong modeling, coding, and analytical skills (or at least 2 out of the 3) should be successful in carrying out the research that we do. A strong background in either electrical engineering, materials science, or physics is also required. A few research areas are described here, and the most recent work is described in our publications. Please send inquiries to Roger Lake ( rlake at ece.ucr.edu) with the header "PhD F23".
