EE221/F2024 Project:

PROJECT ASSIGNMENTS:

• The Goal:

To train students not only to solve a given problem, but also, and most importantly, to define the problems by defining a problem based upon real world observations. This is the biggest challenge in the fast-moving information era.

• The Task:

To design RF IC blocks within the scope of EE221.

• The Deliverables:

1. Propose a design topic of your own on high-frequency IC blocks.

2. Define the circuit specifications (specs). Email me your topic and specs for approval. Do not worry, you can revise your circuit specs during your designs and tell the class why you choose to revise your design targets.

3. A final report that includes detail circuit analysis, circuit topologies, simulation data, and discussions. Your e-report due on 12/3.

4. Prepare PPT for in-class presentation. Email your PPT to me by end of 12/4.
