The Ceitres@UCR/NSF IRES program provides undergraduate students the opportunity to do research in computer engineering with focusing on the nanometer VLSI circuit design, VLSI computer-aided design (CAD). Students have unique international experiences for career development and culture exploration. If selected, you will join dozens of other undergraduate researchers on campus for a summer of fun and international adventure. The program was funded by NSF International Research Experiences for Students (IRES) program (OISE-1130402). We are recruiting students for 2012 event.

Program Description:

-10 week research experience with 4 weeks in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

-Faculty mentored laboratory research

-Networking, and intellectual development opportunities

-Paid housing, food and stipend

Project Opportunities Include:

-VLSI computer-aided design (CAD) tool development

-Nanometer VLSI circuit simulation and modeling

-Embedded system design and design automation

-VLSI RF/analog circuit design
